Well, Auburn announced Chizik as their new head coach just a little bit ago; had the pep rally and everything. I would now like to introduce myself as the newest fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide! I can't wait to watch Bama crush Auburn and their new head snake next year. Bring on the Iron Bowl!

One of my real good buddies is a Bama grad. He's loving every minute of this...mostly because Auburn Nation is furious. I think he's been following this story as closely as I have.

Through my travels in coaching over the last 23 years, there's one place that I've always wanted to return to and that is Auburn," Chizik said. It's a bit of a conflict of interest for me... most of my family is pro-Auburn, and I could never fathom myself ever rooting for the Crimson Tide. So, best I can hope is that their next game ends with Auburn winning in 6 OTs 3-0... resulting in their only win of the season. :yes:

I agree. I can't stand Nick Saban, but I will be rooting for him one day each year. (Which may amount to only 2 or 3 times...:wink:)
