If you go, just make sure and laugh, a lot! Ask him if he will finally learn what a play clock is. Ask him if he is going to run base defenses and never blitz. Ask him if he is going to give his good-old-boy pals jobs even if they are worthless. Ask him if Bates is a quitter, what is he? Also ask him if he is going to encourage Bates to go with him.

No. Not me. He's not worthy of my time or worthy of my emotion. I would rather preserve my Cyclone dignity while at the same time preferring that he leave town ignominiously.

Nothing we can do can will alter events that have transpired. I say we do better to maintain our dignity by letting him depart unchallenged. Besides, there's his children, a not inconsequential consideration if planning to make a scene.

Your efforts would be better served to gather outside the Jake in large numbers to let the team know you still love them..... IMO

He agreed to a contract to rebuild this program. He quit.

Isn't it pretty much common knowledge that coaches move on when better jobs come along ??

I hope nobody here has ever quit a job because a better one came along. I would go and yell at you and your kids as you leave town too.
