All I want a coach to do is work as hard as they can while they are here. It appears to me he did that. Thats why all the players loved him when he was here.
I guess I just hate the Victim attitude that ISU fans have. Just move on. You think most ISU fans would have thicker skin by now. You would think so. He moved on, life moves on. Why waste time on him when we could take the high road and move on?

I hope nobody here has ever quit a job because a better one came along. I would go and yell at you and your kids as you leave town too.
Hopefully you find a "better" board to post on. Just sayin'

The people you are referring to are mainly HS and college kids that don't know better.

I look at it this way: you hire someone to build you a house from scratch. They lay the foundation and put up the walls and it doesn't look the best yet but it is better than the nothing you started with. Then a millionair comes and asks that guy to build him a house for double (dispite the fact the dude has never built a house, just helped out on a few others), and he leaves your house with just the foundation and walls up. Yeah, he got that far so I guess it isn't so bad and you only pay him for the little amount of work he did do but wouldn't you be like "Dude, I paid for a complete house, I want my complete house!" I would... Great analogy. Don't forget he also tried to take some of the lumber and hardware that YOU PAID FOR with him to use on the millionaire's house.

Sure, he said all that stuff about being firmly entrenched in Ames, but that was also before Auburn needed a new coach, and before the Auburn AD came calling for him.
Situations change, that's life. He is offered a better situation, and you really expect him to not take it?

Cy waves and hold up a Kiss My Butt sign and then turns around and bemnds over as the plane door closes. That would be an appropriate send off. Roll Tide.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

YOU DONT GET IT!!!!!!!!!! we arent mad that he left, in the end it might just work out as a good thing! the thing that everyone is so angry about is the way he left and his actions leading up to it

Situations change, that's life. He is offered a better situation, and you really expect him to not take it? I expect him to understand that he is not a good football coach - yet. I expect him to understand that he is not right guy at Auburn right now. But, he is an arrogant *******. He will have to learn the hard way - I guess.
