Re: The Retribution Coaching Plan
I just read on one the Open forum links of www.auburn.rivals.com that Rhoads left "in a huff"...so we've got one on board already. AuburnSports.com - Message Boards

Scott Fountain, who played for Terry Bowden at Samford and is Iowa State's recruiting coordinator, will replace Sam Ensminger as tight ends coach. The real question is what will become of Jeff Koonz, who has been with Chizik at every stop. The only reason this position is in question is Auburn's defensive coordinator has historically been a defensive coach. Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Let's put it this way, if Pollard were to do this his theme song would be "Big Balls" by AC/DC. Hell, we would become famous just for the massive size of our balls.

All you have to do is send the plan to Pollard and have this song attached.[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W-fIn2QZgg]YouTube - acdc-big balls[/ame]

Re: The Retribution Coaching Plan
There are two things that I see as critical. #1. Obviously this coaching hire has to be spot on. #2. If our coach that we hire is not destined to be the coach for the next ten years or so, then we need Chizik to absolutely crash and burn at Auburn. If he goes there and sets the world on fire, ISU will be known as a coaching graveyard for the forseeable future. I don't see this happening, but if they set him up with a top flight staff, he might succeed even being a complete idiot. -

I'm sorry...what were you saying? I was listening to AC/DC and looking for someone to send this post to Pollard.

Re: The Retribution Coaching Plan
Maybe we could pick up some of the potential Auburn recruits.

I am dead serious, this could be the greatest thing that Iowa State could do EVER. We could get a really good coach for nothing and screw over Chizik/Auburn.

The Retribution Coaching Plan WILL WORK!
Check these new facts out from two Auburn sources:
1) Chizik is FIRING all the same coaches he went 13-0 with at Auburn to add to the Paul Rhoads list. Good National Champion caliber coaches with axes to grind are now on the market.
2) Tommy Tuberville is getting paid is $5.1 million for a violation of anti-tampering clause:
"The night Alabama drilled Auburn 36-0, a prominent Auburn booster (not the usual bank-owning one but one who sells pressure-treated wood and wears a yellow hat) made a phone call. This may have been a $5.1 million phone call.
Since he knows most of the SEC coaches on a first-name basis and shoots ads with many of them, he has their personal private phone numbers. So he calls Houston Nutt over in Mississippi and asks what it might take to have Houston change his address again to Auburn.
Apparently, Auburn has a nasty habit of stealing coaches from Ole Miss, but Nutt tells old Yella Fella that he can't take the hit on the credibility scale right now for that kind of move, but thanks.
Regarding Tubervilles' AU contract:
In non-lawyerese, it basically means that if Auburn got caught monkeying around with a new coach behind Tommy's back again he gets paid—a lot.
Unfortunately for Auburn, Nutt's agent is Jimmy Sexton and that just happens to be Tuberville's agent too. Nutt drops this little nugget to Sexton and Tommy walks in the following Monday discussing his intentions to resign and wants his money now that he knows his contract has been breached.
Now Tuberville can get the money AND leave and coach elsewhere, in effect getting double pay for the next three years! A nice retirement package indeed. Plus, he gets to have the last laugh and snub the backstabbers one more time."
Revenge is a dish best served cold. Man oh man I hope Pollard, Tuberville and the Tuberville coaches just ran off are looking forward to a white Christmas.....although after reading the whole sleazy tale, I think ISU would be better off to steer clear of any coaches represented by Jimmy Sexton.
