Exclusive Turner Gill Info?

Any one out there know anything that has been said that isnt insider info? I had heard as of yesterday that he wasnt interested in the job at ISU, but maybe there has been a change or update whether that is true today. Anyone know anything?

No coach would let it leak out what he's feeling about other jobs...

I would not expect Gill to say anything publicly about coaching ISU. His season is still going and he is preparing his team for a bowl game.

For Gill to address the ISU coaching vacancy to the press at this time would lump him in with our recent former coach...classless.

I think ISU has a great shot at landing Gill. Believe it or not, ISU is the only premier job (BCS team) that is open right now. A lot of our own fans put ISU down, but we've come a long way in terms of facilities and budgets. And no fans are more loyal than ISU fans. Dan McCarney had a nice long run here and Turner Gill will remember that.

Pollard was wise to heap some praise on McCarney during his press conference. We may need an "assist" from McCarney if we want to land Turner Gill

WOULD YOU PEOPLE GET OVER IT!!! Turner Gill isnt coming to town. Wake up and read things other than Forums. Great Coach yes. Proven, not yet. Chizik had two undefeated seasons and came here to get his tail whipped. Quit looking at coaching records and look at Yards, Points allowed/ Score etc. Then look at what the coach has done at multiple schools. Its a little thing called consistantcy which I KNOW none of us are used to but would be the BEST change yet. WAKE UP and look at more stats than what your local media gives you. I mean REALLLLLLY take the time to know ALLLLLLLLL of your choices. The best one doesnt always have the best record. This choice may make or break Pollards JOB. He knows that and so should you. Sorry but you need to hear it.

I would say offer Gill $1 Million and sell him on the fact that you will not have the kind of pressure at ISU as a TOP BCS school. (Where 7 to 8 wins can get you fired.)

Its hard to make that kind of money and have the option.

And nobody knows anything about who is or is not an option. Until we get a coach people can want Gill all they want.

Thought this was funny. My wife and some friends were emailing back and forth because a friend of my wife's has/had a huge crush on Chizik. I showed my wife a picture of Turner Gill last night and she was pretty impressed. This was her comfort to her friend (assuming we were to hire Gill).

McCarney to Chizik to Turner Gill...who cares about the record the visual just keeps gettin' better and better!

Since you seem to have ALL the answers and insight.....who will be looked at and/or interviewed? We'd all like to know what you do!
