Re: College Football Live Espn-Chizik
Gill could go from the Mac to the Big 12 and make 5 times what he's paid at Buffalo and that would be a lateral move? That espn analyst just showed how truly clueless he is.

Pat Forde and Van Pelt thought it was a JOKE they hired Chizik. He will be up in a few minutes. Everyone tune in! This should be great

If he does stay, he needs to apologize via facebook or whatever to the ISU fans. Just think of the outrage that would have caused if he put an Iowa jersey on.

Also, the Big 12, good talent in place currently & needs some work & the fan support interested in winning a Big 12 North title.

Re: College Football Live Espn-Chizik
I think you're taking Cunningham's comment too literally. Sure, on the surface moving from a MAC team to a Big 12 team isn't a lateral move. But he'll be moving from a cellar dweller that he rebuilt to another cellar dweller that needs rebuilding. Cunningham said he should wait another 1-2 years at Buffalo for a better job to come along. I have to agree with that.

You get stupid points for that.

Let's move on to arguing over who our new coach will be....

big boost in pay as well.
plus....he will most likely have to rebuild wherever he goes.
you don't know what you are talking about.

Facebook apologies hold about as much weight as facebook tirades...

Because right now he is making 190k a year in the MAC when he could come to the Big 12 and make 1 mill plus a year. Plus I agree with Pollard that the foundation has already been layed here at ISU. It is not going to be a compelte rebuilding project.

Re: College Football Live Espn-Chizik
The term lateral move is hard to misinterpret. Guy is an idiot.
