Chizik's Resume

Started this in another thread...

Lets help Gene Chizik update his resume, now that he has left his first head coaching job @ ISU. Let just focus on some of his credentials.

Here is what was listed so far...

Gene Chizik teams:
1) Don’t know how to tackle.
2) Try and get a record number of penalties each week/season.
3) Think play clocks are 45 seconds long.
4) Are very capable of being in 1st and 25 situations.
5) Buckle in the red zone
6) Are near perfect in their 3rd down defense...and not in a good way...
7) Have never seen a punt they didn't run away from.

Feel free to add more as you see appropriate...

With that attitude, why even have a message board? Walden left years ago but I still enjoy when someone drops a bomb about him. Cheer up cranky pants.

I agree that we aught to be able to still discuss the issue. I mean, the body is not even cold yet.

But we do already have a Gene thread going...

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that thinks it is time to move on. Let's focus on the future instead of complaining about the past.

I am okay with talking about it for this simple reason:

"He who forgets the past is doomed to repeat it."

Not to mention chizik deserves whatever life gives him.

This kindof thread has nothing to do with remembering the past, the person who posted it is just trying to be cool by tearing down someone. This is no different then the bully in school- if you don't believe me, read his quote below.

I'm I upset about Chizik leaving, YES; I'm I willing to stoop to his level of humanity, NO. Chizik is the past and I'm tried of dozens of thread about how Chizik was a bad coach. He's not our coach any more, he's not causing us problems any more. If the guy wanted to start a new thread about us needing a coach that can teach tackling, etc., etc.; I would of been fine with that, but this is nothing more then a bandwagon thread.

Eh, its something to do. There is a lot of nervous energy when something like this happens. If it hadent happened there would still be threads about what GC did last year, or what he'll do next year, etc. So now they are about why he's a crappy coach. Why wouldnt we want to make ourselves feel better at the expense of a guy who left us high and dry?

BTW, I think Auburn should know that steely tough look he learned from GWB, he gets it when he's confused.
