I really hope not, he may be a good coach but he was the most egotistical a-hole I ever met. That was many years ago and maybe he is a little more humble now.

He's better than Farley or that DeForest guy from Okie State. I'm leary about coordinators, but Norvell has been running a solid offense in Norman (understatement).

One thing to keep in mind about Norvell is that he rated below Kelly and Chizik last time around in JP's eyes and he has been a candidate for many jobs but never gotten the offer. Also, he's not completely in charge of the offense at OU so he can't get all the credit.

I have a hard time with a coordinator that is successful with top 5 recruiting classes year end and year out coming to be our next head coach. I just really hope we can get a proven coach. I mean if you were a supervisor or manager and you were given the very best employees year in and year out do you think you could succeed?

Exactly. I don't want this guy. 1. Ex-hawk/Hayden Fry/Dan McCarney - sorry, not interested. 2. Coordinator - been there, done that.

Id really really really! be angry if we got another coordinator at this point. The team needs a leader with some experience, not to be chiziked by another coach with no HC experience.
