I'm not sure if Jamie will risk a Gene Chizik Jr. hire. It might be a sexy hire, and the players might stay because they love the guy. But do we need or want a coach that stays 3 years, maybe 4?

I'm thinking our guys would instantly want to stay, and our Florida recruiting would improve dramatically.

The dual role really should not be a stumbling block. Even ADs at elite schools don't come close to getting paid what coaches do. Maybe Jamie can't figure out who to call. Do you call Dooley asking for permission to talk to Dooley?

We say this, but at the same time blast the idea of Loney who would stick around way longer.
