This is a message board, as long as family friendly, opinions can be exchanged. I dont think Ken was trying to tell you or anyone here to shut up and just sits on your hands until this thing is over. He's being a lot more rational than 99 of the people that have been on here for the last 6 days. Our emotions dont need to fluctuate like the stock market.

Re: Maybe Mart's right
I don't see how Pollard can be on the Stoops trail this early.
As cycloneworld mentioned in another thread, Pollard poked fun at Auburn for hiring a 5-19 HC. Stoops has a little better record, but it's by no means good.
IMO, hiring Stoops would appear that JP settled - based on his presser comments (there are others, the coaching record item is just one of the examples).
And I just can't see Jamie Pollard settling this early into the search.

Re: Maybe Mart's right
Jon,
have you talked to anyone with Arizona's Scout site about Stoops? I talked to a friend down there and he didn't have much good to say about him from a personal and PR (Booster Club, Media) standpoint, not to mention coaching... The AZ fans that have come here seem to think we would be doing them a favor taking him off their hands...

Well Marty is now an ISU fan so anything is possable.

That's fine, but you have to understand that between your show's rumor mongering about Tiller and now Stoops people here are leary. Personally I like that you guys put your balls on the block, but you have to realize people are going to call you out when you are wrong, which seems to be the case....allot.

Re: Maybe Mart's right
Historically, Marty literally has been wrong on about 90% of stuff about ISU. This is no different.
He is trying so hard to be relevent in this coaching search with his "booster this, booster that"(with no success) and it's embarrassing himself, Ken Miller, and KXNO.

So the answer to that would be no.
Spare me, but I think you get the point of the question, Jon!

So the answer to that would be no. I usually don't challenge your posts Jon... but here I have to.
So you don't put on a good show for the next few months because you aren't rated? So I shouldn't listen between last Friday and early January?

Re: Maybe Mart's right
Ha ha......telling people to pipe down on a message board and having it work: unlikely at best.
