I love this football team

The guy from the other site talked to Sedrick Johnson last night. This was off of the free board.

is very excited about next year. He told me that he doesn't expect hardly any transfers and that the team is just waiting for its new coach and that they really think they can get this turned around next year.

He'll have his best friend from back home (new commit JUCO OT Zack Spears) with him on the team and he told me that he has confidence that Jamie Pollard will make the right choice. He said that the whole team has been impressed with how Pollard has handled the situation.

He told me that most of the guys after thinking about it don't want to have to start over at a new school and most importantly don't want to have to sit out a year.

He said that the meeting with Chizik lasted less than a minute. He said that he understands why he left but that it was tough to take at first.

I feel that if Sedrick continues to develop that he could be one of our most important players over the next three years.

This situation will make our players better. It will make them mentaly tougher which will help on the field next season. As well it should hopefully provide a lot of motivation to go out and succeed next season.

I agree 100%. These guys deserve our support more now than ever. For those threatening not to renew their season tickets if coach "A" is selected is rediculous.

I think this awesome...The only thing that concerns me is that players will be going home to spend time with their families with now coach. Hopefully minds don't change. I really think it shows a lot about the players if they stick this out though. PLUS this could really end up being better if Jamie lands someone good.

Chizik brought in some great young talent. Now we have a chance to find a REAL coach, to coach them. I believe that in all honesty.

Give me LJ, SJ, AA, JT, AR, BW, JS, DD, GM, and the rest of the crew and I couldn't care less who the coach is. These kids are going to be fun to watch the next couple of years and have the talent to turn it around. Keep cheering for the players on the field and the results will come.
