Who are some big booster at ISU?

My dad and I were talking about this yesterday. I would think that Gary Thompson is a big booster (the oil co. and all), plus has quite a bit of influence - the Roland Rocket!

(side story: on the alumni trip to the Houston Bowl, we were loading on to the plane and couldn't quite figure out who was just in front of us that everyone wanted to talk to... The three seats on one side were my wife, myself, then my mom, my dad sat across the isle. And the gentleman that people wanted to talk to - Gary Thompson, who ended up sitting right next to my dad! Lots of great discussion on Cyclone athletics on the flight!)

For the most part, the boosters are fine sitting back and letting JP do his job. They also understand discretion hence if they do know something definitive they keep it to themselves. The sources are probably guys who are trying to connect the dots so to speak and are giving their guesses to Marty

No, but don't you get your name printed in the football program or something as a donor? I remember seeing my name in something for my $50 bucks.
