Big Boosters

Do they really know what is going on? When a new coach name comes up everyone says a booster said such and such. Then the next day they are wrong. Does JP really talk to these guys every step of the way? In the end sure call them see what they think, but after every day, I dont think so. If they did get the info do you really think they would leak the real info? JP wants this to be quite. I still think 4 others besides JP know what is really going on: his wife, Steve M, Pres G, and JP's secetary.

Jacobson, Albaugh, even Krause gives quite a bit to ISU I believe although it doesn't get hyped up as much.
A while back there was a chart that I think the DMR put out that said who owns what suites. That may be a way to figure out who some more of the big donors are.

Stark may give alot of money but I don't see him carrying alot of influence when it comes to football...

I believe his pull is more in the basketball area.

His planes fly the team, the coaches, etc. I said earlier that I don't see Stark being buddies with Marty. But, Stark would know where his planes were flying.

I agree - the only people I would add is those at the search firm in Atlanta. JP is being ultra thorough and protecting ISU's reputation by keeping this quiet. He can contact a lot more potential candidates if both know their names won't be blasted all over the airwaves/messages boards. ( ie. we don't look bad if they pass.)

All the other chatter is merely speculation...

How about the CEO of Texas Instruments or VP of Nike? Do any of these guys give back to ISU? Has Albaugh given anything to ISU?

Stark got his Masters from ISU and has been in commodity trading. Every aspect of trading. He owns farm land and owns a seat on the CBOT. He lives around Ft. Dodge. He has his hands in a lot of business.
