Here's a question. As a position with the state does the head coaching position- is there a law that the job has to be posted for 2 weeks before it is filled unless the hiring is internal? I though I heard something like this before???

We can snuff out the new coach possibilities by starting threads - just home in on someone like Stoops or Fullmer or Gill and then watch the denials fly. Get a denial similar to what Gene told JP. Oh yes, most coach types tell the truth. Gene, Houston Nutt, Saban, and others are a small group of good old boys who go where they think the sun is shining.

We are all free to speculate and give our opinions on potential hires - we should, we are fans. But to say that any of us know any more than anyone else (other than JP and those very close to him) about the situation is silly.
