The more I read about the guy, the more I like him and the more excited I am for the 09 season. Im still nervous, but after the press conference, I think this guy might be exactly what ISU needs to grow and turn that corner.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I realize it takes a little more to be a good coach. But when you have a guy that wants to be here, he is gonna give it all he has to fullfill that goal for himself and for Cyclone Nation. This guy sounds down to earth I love it.

I didn't look to see if I posted in this thread and I don't know if I was "Excited" but I said for a long time, what ISU needed was a guy who had a tie to Iowa as a state. A guy who felt at home when he was here and success would keep him happy.
