Guys,

Personally knowing Paul Rhodes, all I can say is that you all will be very happy with this selection. He is an Iowa State man, has been around the game for a long time, been successful, and will treat our players with great respect, but will be very demanding. I'm excited.

I know I was rooting for Loney a little bit because it would of been a dream come true for him. But this is a great hire for us.

I was initially pretty dissappointed that we didn't get a head coach, but if we had to get an assistant I'm glad it's Paul, an Ankeny kid with roots and family here. This will be his chance to prove he's a head coach, and being a valdictorian (sp) I'm sure he's smarter than our last two coaches put together. I'm getting more excited about him and will look forward to the presser and intro to the public.
