New logo & uniforms? Hope not!!

the new logo has gotten a lot of compliments whenever I wear my hat travelling the country for work.

Agree that this is not the most significant thing to be discussing right now...but PLEASE...keep the new logo!! I haven't even worn my new shirts three times each yet!! And I'm not one of those rich guys from EIU...I've got to keep my clothing budget in line.

I thought the unis that your boys wore for the 2007 Iowa game were pretty sweet, especially the helmet - that design blows away the three that fans voted on, and really blows away the current one.

Side question: If the football team has "cardinal" jersies, why doesn't the basketball team? The unis they wore at Iowa last Friday were maroon.

as long as they are referring to us and not saying iowa, the hawkeyes, idaho state, or illinois state I consider it a big win.

Not often I agree with Hok fans, and I feel dirty even saying this, but I agree, the throwback uniforms were far and away my favorite of anything Ive seen lately.

Changing their logo isn't any reason to have to get new apparel. I would rather wear older stuff, anyway. Any Cyclone apparel looks good.

I'm still wearing my t-shirt from the Insight.com bowl, from 2000.

On that note, I'm in the same position as you, as far as the budget goes.

I've often wondered why Maroon, myself. Our colors are Cardinal Red and Old Gold.

The only teams at ISU right now that have the actual "Team Cardinal" are the football team and the Track/Cross Country teams. I am not exactly sure why but it has something to do with NIKE.
