Re: Easy to understand why Rhoads was so emotional
I just read this and came here to see if it had been posted. Very telling about Rhoads personality--I truly think we've got a great guy moving into an office at the Jacobson Building this week.

Read some comments (on Register online page) from some jerk Hawkeye making fun of Rhoad's show of emotion. Kinda funny coming from an Iowa fan...they're ALWAYS crying about something.

My great grandmother had it the last 5-8 years. It is very hard going to visit and she had barely remembered my grandpa. I just wish someone would find a cure for this and cancer and things would be great.

Paul Rhodes says the right things but more importantly his actions speak louder than his words, unlike the guy that just left. You can't fake the kind of emotions Paul shows when talking about his family, and his mom's situation is obviously a very emotional issue.

Sometimes I think Alzheimers and Lou Gehrigs are the worst diseases people can get. The amount of suffering it inflicts upon others not only the host is sad. I've had family members who dealt with these two. Hard to watch.
