I also think it proves they don't really have sources and they don't really know anything.... Rhoads caught me by surprise but it isn't my job to try to get the inside scoop on this. I spend 60 hours a week collecting a paycheck doing something else...

They don't have any sources. They throw something against the wall to get people fired up so they can fill up a show. It's amazing that they can have these sources "close to the athletic program", but they bad mouth the Cyclones any chance they get. I wish we still had Deace on KXNO.

I was listening to M&M on saturday morning. They were talking Stoops Stoops Stoops non-stop. They were saying stuff like "Stoops is speaking of Arizona in the past tense. I'm on to him. I'm able to catch coaches when they slip up like that." Then it was "give us numbers Kenny. We like numbers!" They went with 80/20 it was Stoops. At this point, I thought this was a tape-delay from Friday or something. This was around 7:20 and they said it was a lock that Stoops was the coach. At 7:30, they said that ISU was going to hire Rhoads. I thought I was still asleep at this point and was confused by what they were saying. Then Miller was all like "JP pulled the wool over everyone's eyes again. I don't ever want to go through something like this again. I have a headache. I've slept with my cell phone." I think what it was it that they couldn't have been more wrong and they realized that within a few minutes they had so much egg on their face they could have made souffles. It took a while for me to realize what was going on, but when the light went on, I just had to laugh at the idiocy of it all.

Don't forget this board was all atwitter with the media reports coming out of Arizona that Stoops was going to be offered the position. The only problem was that the AZ media were getting their information from radio station reports in Iowa. Guess who that was?
