100% agree and that definitely don't fit with the idea that Rhoads likes aggressive defenses. Skladany was a lot more like Norm Parker, bend but don't break - ooopppsss we broke again!!!!!

Great hire, i think this is the phase that will determine Rhoads abilities as a head coach. He has to assemble a staff that can recruit and coach. He knows that as a ISU coach, he won't be attracting a lot of 4-5* guys. So what he has to do is target the 2-3* guys and coach them.

I actually thought Chizik and his staff did a remarkable job of identifying talent - we will see if they can be coached.

Chiziks two classes, IMO will be hard to beat as far as raw athleticism goes. Thats why i would love to keep Coach Fountain, he is phenominal

I believe Ash was a Grad Assistant when Rhoads was here and he got the job when he left for Pitt.

Meaning nobody should seriously expect to ever see that happen, especially at a Coordinator capacity.

I am sure Pollard mentioned something to the nature of "I am writing checks out to your buddies that you made a deal with 25 years ago saying that whoever got the first head coaching job would hire the others."
