With Cincinatti legitimizing themselves as a BCS school under D'Antoni and now Kelley they are going to get more and more kids. You have the Big East and SEC in state or right across the river. Your fighting an uphill battle trying to pull kids out of there...
And Florida is much better? Everyone who's anyone is down in Florida recruiting.
There are a lot of talented players that come out of Ohio that tend to stay in state within the Big 11 and the MAC. I would agree it would be a tough sell to consistently turn them onto ISU year after year.
This has some truth to it but I've never understood it. If I have the chance to go to a BCS conference school as opposed to a MAC school I'm definitely going to the BCS school, not to mention you're probably going to get a better education
