I've seen him in Beaverdale walking w/ what I assume is his girlfriend (they were holding hands :-) ) and a puppy. He either lives at or stays at a house just down the block from me. This leads me to believe he is not in the NFL. He's a good kid by all accounts, so hopefully he is happy in his post college life.
I believe he has been in talks with the Eagles? I can't remember the team name for sure, but my buddy talked to him the other day and he said he already has a team that he will try out for during training camp
Wasnt he going to try to get into law school or something? I remember somebody doing an interview with him and he stated that if the NFL didnt work out, he would try to get into law.
Why is it sad? If he is still chasing his dream to play in the NFL then what is wrong with working at a department store with flexible hours that will allow him to train properly? A corporate job probably wouldn't do that for him.
Not only are the points about flexible hours and training right on the money, but, Im also reminded of that speach from office space, about no janitors if everyone had a million dollars. So what if its not a big time job or anything, SOME job and money is better than NO job or money.
