Re: Darius Money Reynolds.
If Reynolds keeps playing like he did in highschool then we will be loaded with good QB's.

Re: Darius Money Reynolds.
The problem with the hype is there is nowhere for him to go but down. I don't think I've ever seen somebody hyped so much by their brother on a message board. Isn't this the same guy that got beat out at qb on his juco team and later kicked off the team? He could become a great receiver for ISU but it's not doing him any good putting all these expectations on him.

But I'm used to it now.

Re: Darius Money Reynolds.
If you didn't have to hype him, why do you? You have started and been involved in so many threads about this player there is going to be unrealistic expectations on him before he ever plays a down. The difference between juco and D1 is huge. KU signed the #1 juco player in the country last year and he is currently a back-up. Give the guy a chance to make a name for himself.

Darius is a Cyclone and through proxy so is his brother. If he hypes him or doesn't hype him it doesn't matter. If it was my brother I'd be excited too. Don't be a hawk.

What purpose does it serve other than bragging? And worse yet, he hasn't even done anything on the football field...ever.
Sure, there's been a lot of hype about him like the article you linked where he was the # 1 juco PROSPECT, but he's done absolutely nothing of substance other than getting benched for lack of production at QB and kicked off his team.
These are his actual accomplishments on the football field.
You're setting him up for failure in a lot of people's eyes based on the expectations you've set for him, even if he has a modest ok 2 years.
I'm sure if he doesn't break every ISU record, it will be by no fault of his own. That seems to be the way you operate.
And who were those other offers?

The majority of us are very excited to see your brother in Cardinal and Gold. There will always be some sour apples, don't let em spoil the bunch.

Re: Darius Money Reynolds.
Darius "Money" Reynolds has committed to ISU. YEAH BABY! Regardless of the hype or where it came from, I am PUMPED that he's coming. Worst case, he's got loads of potential, could be a game changer, wants to be at ISU, and the staff wants him here. Works for me.

I don't get why he is not listed as a commit on Rivals or Scout?

Re: Darius Money Reynolds.
Why do some have to rip on a kid that has is going to be a Cyclone? Lets wait until he plays for ISU before we can make a decision on him as a player and person. You really make him feel welcome when you rip on him when you know his family members come here. Granted some of that goes with the coming here but some commets are not needed.

how sad is your little life that you need to belittle a young man that wants to attend ISU.

Re: Darius Money Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds has chosen to be a Cyclone. Although it has not been proven at the major college level, the young man apparently has talent. If he works hard to reveal that talent, represents himself, Iowa State University, the athletic department and the football team favorably, then, Welcome, Mr. Reynolds. We're looking forward to having you as part of the Cyclone family. And over-the-top or not, may we all have a brother as supportive as yours.
