    That Hawks probably have the money to go out and make a wow hire that I was hoping for here (nothing against Rhoads) so I don't think I want Kirk to go the same year we got Chizzed.

    If I were him...I would leave for the same reason that Greene will leave.

    Go while the gittin' is good. Next year Ferentz won't have Greene to ride to a winning record. He might as well go now before something goes wrong. PLus, from that article, it sounds like the Browns are willing to open the check book for him.

    Could be very inticing...

    As fun as seeing Ferentz pull a Chiz on EIU would be, from reading the Gazette over here in the CR/IC area over the past few days, Ferentz doesn't seem like he'll be leaving soon. Although, the Chiz left us shortly after re-upping his contract...

    Hawkeyes are done with WOW hires after Alford. There A.D. prefers more guys like licklighter and Ferenz. Low Key guys who get the job done. I am sick of WOW hires. They are WOW hires for about 2 years before everyone scratches there head and say "what happened".

    Name one guy that was a wow hire that has worked out. Minnesota hired Brewster and he works out fine. Not a WOW hire. South Carolina was supposed to vault to the top of the SEC with there WOW hire. They are decent but it has not worked out how they hoped.
