I do not know if there were coaches previously listed on the 2009 season football page, I always looked at the 2008 season, where CPR and the announced coaching changes are posted. I guess at this point, I am not too worked up about it.
Either that, or Christy Johnson is leaving (I really hope not).

Re: Assistant Coaches Update
This may be a shot in the dark, but maybe Larry Coyer comes back here as Defensive Coordinator. Him and PR have prior working relationships together, Coyer was at ISU in 95-96 and his contract was not renewed in Tampa with the Bucs. Could be interesting, they both believe the a pressure defense.

What happened to Woodley? I thought he was the first contact PR made? Director of football ops?

The OC and DC make 300-400k and lower tier 150k.....at Iowa, KF probably makes more than rest of staff combined

Re: Assistant Coaches Update
Looking at the staff from end of 2008 for names in heavy red font, we also see Ryan McKim as assistant recruiting coordinator, Dustin Landry as Grad Assistant defense, and James Harris as Grad assistant Strength Condtioning. I mention this because Chris Ash has the same font.

Re: Assistant Coaches Update
I've been daydreaming during the Sugar Bowl that we might hire Utah's OC. That's based on absolutely nothing past my own daydreaming, but it sounds fun.

Re: Assistant Coaches Update
I heard Patrick Nix might possibly be named as our next OC. He was recently fired by Shannon at Miami. Has anyone else heard rumors about Nix coming to Ames? -

He just started Grand View Universities' Football team last year. I would like to see him join, but I don't think he will enlight of him turning his back on a startup team. Great guy, and runs the offense that I like to watch / would be successful in the B12.
