    This means we have an OC who likes to put lots of receivers on the field. It does seem like overkill, but if anyone leaves, I'd think it would be a RB first, sadly.

    some aren;t scholly wideouts or mainly scout team guys.
    NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.

    It does sound like a bit much but keep in mind the type of offense that Herman ran at Rice. I'm sure a couple of the receivers will redshirt but it is good to have depth at this position and will be huge in our new explosive offense.

    This recruting season isn't even over. We could have 16+ receiver by the end of the recruting periods. Texas Tech doesn't even have that.

    Well, we only have 10 returning receivers:

    Hunter, Campbell, Carlson, Darks, Johnson, Mitchell, Mulcahey, Range, Sandvig, and Williams.

    And we only have 3 WR recruits already:

    Money Reynolds, Josh Lenz, and DJ Beshears.

    So another committ would bring our number of wide receivers to 14. Considering the 85 scholarship limit as our "team", only 16% of the team will be receivers.
    Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

    no such thing as too many play makers.... our defense is still going to be bad so why not improve the offense as much as we possibly can.
