Bradford staying good for the big XII...
With the departure of Harrell, Daniels and Ganz its good that McCoy isn't the only top level QB in conference. This will give the younger qb's a chance to develope for another run at a great big XII season in 2010 while keeping the value in the conference high. If we can be know as the best conference for qb's then maybe ISU can start getting high quality qb recruits and a good qb can carry a team more than any other player. Especially in the Big XII.

With Bradford and McCoy staying that means in 2010 they will have to break in new qb's the same year ISU gets them back on the conference slate

Maybe ISU will start getting high quality QB recruits? We have been getting them, actually. You realize that 2 of the top 40 or so QBs in the WORLD just came through Iowa State on the way to the NFL? And Arnaud was pretty dang good last year as well and might be joining them in the NFL in a couple years.

I'm not saying anything bad about sage or seneca but wouldn't it be nice on signing day for our name to be in the mix for the best qb's in the country. I'm not a fan of Arnaud, but in this new offense maybe I will like him more.

I thought Arnaud was surprisingly better than Meyer, but maybe after the years of disapointment Meyer provided maybe I am biased. I am looking forward to seeing Arnaud grow again.

I don't see how Bradford staying will have a positive impact on our defense. It would be nice to score 35 points and not lose.

It's good for ISU, because now it means an automatic 2 losses for everyone who has to play both OU and Texas.

He definitely has the cannon to make all the throws, some of the deep outs he threw last year were throws that not many college QBs can make. Those are the ones Bradford makes look easy.

When was the last time 2 Heisman winners were still playing college ball?

I had to think about that way too long to make sure it made sense to me. Still shaking off the holiday break malaise I guess.
