If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team.

Randal-el is now an athlete.
| Let's give a high five for Diante as he leads us into war in the Big 12 conference race next year. Some are recruited for greatness on Johnny Oar FloOR, more are coming. |

Why are we comparing apples to oranges? The Big10 runs offenses that are similar to a pro style offense. Power running game, and very few designed QB runs. The Big12 is more of a finesse, spread the field game with running QB's abound. Sure, they may play the same position, but they are recruited differently for certain aspects of their game. Why do you think it was so easy for guys like Kerry Meier and Austin Flynn to move into the reciever position. I'd like to see Chad Henne or Tom Brady do that.

Chris Simms also warms the bench. Dan Patrick should read: Atomic Teeth » Blog Archive » The Conference of Quarterbacks….seriously?
Anyway, the fact that there are currently not many Big 12 QBs in the NFL doesn't have anything to whether the current batch of QBs can play in the NFL.

The 4 QBs left are from
UNI
Delaware
Miami (OH)
Syracuse
By the transitive power of extremely small sample sizes, that must mean that the best quarterbacks are in 1-AA college football.

And I would like to see a running QB succeed in the NFL. The Big 12 isn't a QB running conference. Yes, McCoy, Reesing and Daniel WILL run, but there aren't a large amount of designed QB runs within their offense. The fact is the Big Ten puts bett NFL QBs in the NFL.

I don't know in what context Dan Patrick made this comment, but if it was to support that the Big 12 quarterbacks are over-rated, then I totally agree. Not one will make it in the NFL, not even Bradford. Where is Josh Huepel? These are all system quarterbacks - Chase Daniel, Graham Harrell, Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford. They all might as well be named David Kingler or Andre Ware.
If one were to prove me wrong, I'd say it would be Colt McCoy. Man has heart.

I think you could also argue that the Patriots just have "system quarterbacks." Matt Cassel hasn't started since high school, steps in for an injured Tom Brady and within a few games is playing like an all-pro. Brady was a bit of a no-name whe he started as well when he took over for Bledsoe.
