Maybe he wants to beat Auburn. Maybe he did not like the local Wal-Mart. Maybe ghe was worried abput playing against Big 12 offenses and then getting his next job. Maybe his wife showed p and said no. Maybe he forgot his goulashes. Maybe he knows who the DC will be. Maybe.
Did you say something about maybe?
NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section.
You know, it makes sense if you think about it. He is a Southern boy, probably thought Chizik was going to fire him and needed a job, so took the ISU job so he wouldn't be out of work, and then poof, a better job in the South came along. I have a wife who doesn't like the north, and trust me, the first better job that comes along in a warmer climate, were gone. I was over the top excited to have an opportunity to get a "great job" in Ankeny, and my wife said, nope, we are not moving unless it is Kansas City or further south, and she is an ISU alum. People from the south just don't get what winter is until they get here. Like a family that I knew from the South that came to visit, wanted to see snow, I picked them up at the airport, we came to my house, they ran out to run in the snow, and in 2 seconds flat they were in the house, in front of the fireplace, thermostat set at 74(hot by my standards) complaining of the cold and couldn't understand how we live like this. I think it was like 20 outside at the time. Southerners just don't like the cold. But, I will take a cold winter over 110 in the summer.
I have lived in Iowa all my life and hate the cold. But I do like the fact that there is no yard work, and the comfort of a hot tub, curling up in a warm blanket, sitting in front of a fireplace, hot chocolate or best of all cozying up with your girlfriend. The best thing about winter weather, is winter weather avoidance.
