Sed showed a few times that he could be great.
Am I missing someone else that makes us deep there? Besides recruits that we are hoping to come in and make a splash more than SJ did? Uhm Lonzie Range will get some solid playing time this year im sure

I'm glad we signed a bunch of WRs this class. We need major help and WAY more speed at that position than we currently do. Just my opinion.

No doubt we are going to need crazy depth in our WR corps given Herman's system. It doesn't surprise me at all that we brought in a bunch of receivers in this class.
As far as Jones, he did have a few games where he didn't really do much of anything. But he still ended up as our #3 receiver in terms of both catches and yards for the season. I really thought he did some nice things last year, even if it wasn't on a consistent basis. I'm not going to complain about having him out on the field when we go to 4/5 wide formations.

Re: Donnie Jennert
Jones was the one I was forgetting.
But having 4 guys who have played solid minutes as WR does not mean we are stacked.
Unless you count the Wallace Franklin and Jason Carlsons of the world.

Not to mention a sure first down on the last drive against KU. He hangs onto that ball, and our season may have taken a drastically different direction. For a guy thats been moving around positions and such he does ok, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Range, Reynolds and Jennert all move ahead of him on the depth chart (assuming Jennert doesn't redshirt).

Agree here. I dont see Jones getting to much playing time at all this season.

That would be just fine with me because that would speak volumes of how good our new guys are.
