I'll be happy if we can put together a three deep on the strongside. I've heard good things about Cleyon Laing, I just hope he's ready to share some time with Martin.

Yeah... we really need Laing and Maggitt (and J Mcdonough if hes not a DT) to be solid DEs for us at the very least with our roster shortage at the DE position. I am hoping that at least one of our high school commits from this class ends up at the DE position too.
I actually think next year we will have Lyle and Parker as our two starting DEs next year, unless Laingg or Maggit is already better than one of them as a redshirt freshman. Just like when we had Bo Coleman and Tyson Smith playing the same position, with Coleman switching over as a SR to get our two best DEs on the field.

If the old staff was back, I would have said that Parker and Lyle stayed on the rush side, because neither is big enough for the strongside. Maggitt as a spot player as a frosh. I might have expected Austin Alburtis to move outside--assuming he's healthy.
Right now, how CPR reshuffles everything is a mystery we won't see revealed until Spring ball.
