Honestly it wasn't that informative...here are a few things I got from it...
-PR said that by spring ball EVERY football coach in Iowa will have been contacted by the ISU staff so that ISU will be aware of every D-1 caliber player in the state
-said that not having a WR coach and DC may have contributed to not getting 1 or 2 players but that essentially didn't think it was that big of a deal
-they were allowed 7 coaches to contact recruits and they had the full allotment of coaches
-thought it was a better idea to focus on recruiting since they were at a disadvantage when it came to calls/visits so focused his energies on that...will now focus on filling out the staff
-said that every player they signed will be given the opportunity to play next year unless they requested to red shirt and i believe he said none of them made that request
as I think of more I'll post but in reality it was kind of a let down...as another poster said the questions asked by the reports were the cause of it
I am fully convinced that CF members could have come up with better questions.
Also, where is Diamond Dave when you need him? We could gauge the quality of each recruit by the percentage of support provided by Diamond Dave. As a matter of fact, maybe we should get rid of the star system and move to the DD Percentage Index. A 200% DD rating would equate to a 5-star, for instance.

Yes! This is our first, 5-star rated class. We also have a 5-star coaching class.
