a recruiting guro is what they sell on welch. they started calling them this instead of gyros when it was determined that anyone who visits Ames and spends the $3.50 to try one will for sure attend Iowa State.

A recuiting guro is a rare commodity. They are not even mentioned in wickipedia. They are constantly changing their minds and they make speak foeign languages. Guros are like gauchos but not really the same.

Funny, considering the coaches said he'd play either linebacker or defensive end.

He was a sleeper, since he played basketball and several positions.

Wrong in two. The coaches said the one place the freshmen could make an immediate impact this fall was at linebacker, where they needed help.

Ohly is Greg Ohlson. the guy who runs cyclonesportsreport.com. direct quote

"He is not coming to ISU to play LB. He will be used at defensive end."

his info is usually very reliable. but i dont care as long as we are getting under the radar guys like this who can contribute!
