Paul Rhoads
I was Ames this week for some meetings and happened to walk by Coach Rhoads on signing day. He looked me square in the eye and said thanks for coming to our event. If I would have been thinking, I would have stopped and talked with him a while, but I was on my way to the womens baskeball game.
I tell you what, he comes across every bit as friendly as we've heard and seen on t.v. What a night and day difference between him and what we had.
The other thing that surprised me is how big a man he is. He must be 6' 4" or 6' 5".

Re: Paul Rhoads
Now that I think about it, thats kind of interesting he was a safety being that tall.....he must have grown some after high school. Good to hear how good of a guy he comes across in person.

No to be an Azz . . . But he left us. We didn't out him. Just thought I would throw that in there.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy he is out of Ames.
