Scott Fountain to Auburn?

Curious where all these people that are positive about this are coming from. As near as I can tell he was working yesterday, the only mention of this on the internet is the CycloneReport board, and the only real opening for him at Auburn would be recruiting coordinator with no offensive position group or take tight ends away from Boulware. Not saying it won't or hasn't happened but find it interesting where people are so sure from.

Wasn't going to break out my newly purchased Roll Tide shirt until the Iron Bowl, but I think i'm going to today.

Sad how these types of individuals become leaders. Chizik is the worst kind... pure hypocrite.

I'm just hopeful stuff like this wouldn't actually be going down at this late date, but who knows?

I would concur with this.......................all the same it is truly unbelievable. It's been a long off-season all ready.

exactly. It is also a good resume buidler for the future. auburn is an upgrade in prgram recognition. Like it or not it is reality. Not sure anyone here would turn it down either. Big picture it is a good move for him. Unfortunate for ISU but...

Looks like Fountain is from Alabama. So cant really blame him there nor for the raise.

Well we have 2 other coaches that have been recruiting coordinators, does that mean one of those 2(Ash and Wells) step in? Or look for another TE/ recruiting coor. ?

No big deal. Wipes the slate clean from Chizik's program. We'll replace him.

So can Mcfarland coach TEs and OTs? We are still paying him he might as well earn that pay.

Might be a big deal to those players he recruited to ISU to be coached by him...maybe a big deal to those players' moms and dads too.
