Great interview with Cyclone Sports Report and I'm really excited about this guy after reading this.

Good timing by Ohly. He's doing great work there. I wanna so bad go up to Ames and see who is there for junior day. There never seems to be very much info on it, even from CR.

Sounds like the whole Big 12 thing was a pretty big deal for him.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

im still kind of blah on this guy. i hope that he is more of a figurehead/recruiter, and CPR runs that nasty 4-2-5 cracking skulls.

It just amazes me how fast these things shake out...offered the job about 22 hours ago and here we are reading about him on CF being interviewed and talking about junior day on Saturday...crazy.

I like that he said It's not always the kid with the most ability. Sometimes it's the kid with the biggest heart.

We have alot of ability on this team but we definitely have kids that will give it all their heart.

    Wally Burnham:

"...Dan McCarney is a very close friend of mine and he was the guy that tied Paul and I together."

Love it. Mac continues to help Iowa State win.

What's weird is I've read Brock Massner from Mepo will be there (at junior day.)...the kid isn't that good. I've watched/ played against him in many sports. He's 6'3", and moderately fast, but vastly overrated. He's not very strong, not a great play-maker, etc.

Rhoads doesn't run a 4-2-5 as his base set and it doesn't sound like this guy will either.
