Tiger Stadium (LSU) and it isn't even close. Night games, hot southern women, great food, hot southern women, good football, sold-out everytime.

When I read this, I thought it was a thread for the nation's worst stadiums.

Re: College Football Stadium Bucket List
Where I've been:
Jack Trice (duh)
Kinnick (It's a nice stadium, hate the setting though)
Metrodome (saw an Iowa/Minny game 10+ years ago, very, very weak atmosphere for college ball)
Mizzou (decent stadium, decent tailgating, would go back there)
K-State (alot like ISU in some regards, but Manhattan is a dump, and the fanbase is a bit "redneck")
Nebraska (beautiful stadium, terrible tailgate, great experience for the most part)
Baylor (absolute **** hole. Do not go there unless it's your only opportunity to see ISU, or your trying to hit every Big 12 stadium)
To-do list (I'm trying to hit every Big 12 stadium)
Kansas
Colorado
Texas
Tech
A&M
Okie State (really looking forward to this one)
OU
Non-Big 12 I'd like to go to:
Tennessee (Knoxville would be awesome)
West Virginia (they know how to riot)
VaTech
Florida
Oregon

Re: College Football Stadium Bucket List
I'd love to go to some of the big rivalry games, especially the neutral stadium ones like Texas-Okla and Fla-UGA. Visiting every SEC stadium would be a blast.

PS: if you go to ND make sure you lose a few pounds before you go. The seats are a 2x6 piece of wood and are very tight both side to side and front to back...they cram you in like a sardine.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -
Re: College Football Stadium Bucket List
My list isn't so stadium specific, but to start, I'd like to hit every Biig XII stadium at least once. The new stadium in Minneapolis is also a must in the near future. Outside of JTS, I've only been to Kinnick (don't plan on going back), UNI Dome, and Memorial in Lincoln. For as much as we clash with NU fans, Memorial was actually a great game day atmosphere and the fans were cordial last time we went in 2005. I even tried to start a fight and no one would take me up on it... Can't say the same for the trip to EIU in 2004 (plenty of takers, with a wife that pulled me away when my big mouth got me in trouble; one of many reasons we don't plan on going back...)
More importantly, I'd like to go to every ISU game in one season at least once. Probably '10 or '11, but this year would be one of the easier ones (College Station being the farthest, followed by Kent, which is not a state...)

It would be awesome to be able to do this every year upon retirement (which is like 40 years away, and college football probably won't even exist).

Re: College Football Stadium Bucket List
Memorial Stadium in Lincoln back in the 90's was crazy. I grew up in SW Iowa and was both a Cyclone and Husker fan, as the only games on TV were the Husker games (can't stand the Huskers after going to ISU). The fans there are nuts about football and the stadium is amazing. Memorial Stadium always has been a top quality stadium.

Re: College Football Stadium Bucket List
Oklahoma
Clemson
Oregon
Florida
Tennessee
BYU
Nebraska
LSU
Probably the most feasible at this point are OU and Nebraska, but the other stadiums are ones I've always wanted to experience.
