Anyone have news on Chase Harper?

Chase was a recruit that unfortunately did not make it onto campus last year due to grade issues or ACT score issues. Last thing I had read though, said he still wanted to play at ISU and was doing better in the classroom. I haven't heard anything on him for quite some time and I wondered if anyone had any news on him, is he still going to make it to campus?

I think Chase is a lost cause. Hope I am wrong though.

He can't go D1 until he graduates from JUCO

He didn't go juco right away and tried to concentrate on getting a test score, so he could join the team this spring. Unfortunately, that didn't happen either. I'm not even sure if he's at a juco now, but if he is, he got off to a slow start by skipping the first semester like that.

As I understood it, he was at juco taking classes in the fall (part time?), not playing football waiting for the test results in hopes of being a grayshirt..

He's playing TE for Navarro Junior College in Texas.... no doubt about it.

Chase had a very successful season playing hoops for Navarro and is on the roster to play football. He also apparently has an offer from Nebraska on the table:
