Ticket renewals and pledge forms mailed on March 3
The 2009 football season ticket and Cyclone Club pledge renewals will be mailed on March 3. A new fan-friendly feature to the renewal process this year is the opportunity to establish a payment plan for the amount due. Renewals are due to the Iowa State Athletics Department on May 1.

This will be my final season as a student, and the first time I'll be buying football tickets.

Hey Now. Don't be hater. Although, I have been gaining free entry for the last five years now...I figured since I'm going in my 6th

season as a Cyclone, I could pony up a few bucks.

Could've made a donation. Donate some plasma, and then use that money for you NCC contribution.

Are you only allowed to be in band 5 years? This guy I know seemed to be in the band for 6 years or so.

Hey, I've donate to the ISUVMB the past couple of years. Okay, not as much as for athletics, but likely more than most on this board.

I’m struggling with whether I’m going to re-up this year. The economic situation is really making me think about whether I should continue to spend approximately $2,000 each year on my Cyclone Club donation and two football and basketball season tickets, especially when I have a family to worry about.

This will make me sound like a whinny wimp, but it gets especially frustrating when halfway through the football season the Athletic Department starts selling the tickets at a discounted rate. I appreciate the fact that they’re trying to fill the stadium, but it kind of sucks to have spent the equivalent of approximately $200/game for two tickets when I see other folks walking through the gates for a fraction of what I’ve paid. My seats might be in a little better location than their seats, but they're not that much better. It reminds me of how so many companies offer tremendous incentive packages for new customers, but they don’t allow the loyal costumers who’ve paying for their product for many years the same kinds of rewards (e.g., cable and satellite TV).

On the other hand, it would absolutely kill me to NOT be in the stands when Coach Rhoads and Coach Mac get there programs turned around. Such is the dilemma for a Cyclone fan.
