    Amazed at the opinions of Sage. It goes to show that 1 bad game means more than 12 good ones in most people's eyes. Sage is definitely an upgrade over TJack and Ferrotte, imo.

    Maybe I haven't kept up? I thought he was well thought of in Miami & Houston. Best backup in the league imho.

    Given a chance to start and actually get starters reps should only allow him to improve. I see good things in Minnys future.

    I think he is very well thought of and many think he can handle a starting position.
    You just don't hear his name on Sportscenter so some people don't think he can do anything. We ISU fans know differently. The Vikings fans that are bashing him wanted the team to go after a big name free agent so they are dissapointed with the trade. I think they will learn their lesson quick.

    Now we only have 1 of the best back ups in the NFL.

    Last year i think Sage and Seneca were 2 and 3, only behind Cassel.

    Hopefully he takes adavantage of the opportunity. I think he could have a very good season.

    He is and was, just the one bad game against Indy was blasted all over Sportscenter all year.
