As someone who has been around big time college football forever and now a senior at Elon, you guys are getting one heck of a coach in Shane Burnham. He will be greatly missed and we all wish him the best. While he may be young, he has some of the strongest recruiting ties in West Florida, which will allow you guys to land players you never thought would come to Iowa State, and as a coach he demands only the best from his players. He won't put up with any crap and players love to play for him. Give him time and you will all see the payoff. We surely have here at Elon as the players out of Florida he has recruited are now some of the best players on our team. And some of the players he landed us this past recruiting season have been considered steals, as they could have gone to play for bigger Div 1-A teams.
Good luck to the Burnhams and the Cyclones! You're athletic department has assembled one heck of a coaching staff.
