K-State game in ArrowHead?

So I'm looking at the schedule and I see that we have a game against Kansas State in Kansas City. Assuming that game is in ArrowHead, and as I am looking at it, it looks like we are calling that one of our home games. Or at least it is taking the place of one of our home games.

Does that bother anyone else? Why would we give up one of our home field games to play on what is basically a home game for Kansas State?

Granted we will likely have equal opportunity to bring as many or more fans, but does anyone believe that will happen?

KSU is giving up one of it's home games to play the game in KC the following year.

I think its a two year deal. So KState is doing the same thing the next year, so it somewhat balances out.

And the bonus for you is stopping by Kelly's after the game and getting a 44oz beer in a paper cup.

sorry if this has been discussed, but I don't think that really is a fair tradeoff.

KSU and ISU are both 3 hours from Kansas City....how is this not a fair tradeoff?

I think we can bring more fans both years, thus giving us home field advantage two years in a row.

I know I'll be with a bigger group of Iowa State fans at this game than any of the actual home games this year.

It was announced a while ago. It isn't a home game for Kansas State. I live in K.C. and KState fans are a minority. I watch games like this every year where the schools play at a neutral site and get a big payout. Kansas and Missouri are getting a lot of money for doing the same thing. I am glad we will finally be getting a cut. You all know how well Iowa State fans travel and tailgate, Arrowhead will be JT South and it will be a blast. See you all there.
