We were #8 (I think) two weeks before that, going in to the Oklahoma game.

Seems like a misprint now, but I almost remember that season when we were ranked 9th. Before we went to OU and got crushed... What a year, both up ("the run") and down (blue turf, anyone?)

Absolutely drilled by Oklahoma by 40 or so. It is hard to believe we were a top 10 team not that long ago - although probably over ranked in reality.

Re: Jerome Tiller
One thing about Tiller is we all should be excited about him. Heard nothing but good things about him. However Arnaud did a heck of a job last year and he'll probably end up starting until he graduates.
That being said we know Arnaud isn't invincible and I hope Tiller gets some time in some early blowouts. (Please let them be blowouts). I'd love to have a capable backup so we don't have to run Austen out there when he's hurt like we did last season.

Imo, the low point of that year was UCONN. At least on the smurf turf we were losing to a good team at their place, rather than choking to a ****-bag at home. That was the day I started to doubt Danny Mac...

Re: Jerome Tiller
Everyone knows that no matter how much experience the starter has, the backup would be much better and probably better than any QB in the country. Just ask an EIU fan to explain it to you.

Actually, Mac said that they had made the decision to go for two prior to the end of the game.

Re: Jerome Tiller
If Arnaud had done a better job at safety, maybe we'd all give him more credit.
