Don't get me wrong - the program's going in the right direction and I believe will be successful soon, just tough to swallow as is right now.

Actually, I'm hoping that Coach Rhoads being from Ankeny might help to spur this along a bit faster.

Re: Jack Trice
The entire second floor of the Jacobson building is being renovated. Sports information will be over at the green room in Hilton while that's going on. And I didn't know this but one of the SIDs told me that there are coaches offices in some building out on Dayton Road. Not sure exactly where it is out there but I guess that would include wrestling and track coaches.

IMO that could be done yet this month. Then it is only the interior work and the landscaping that needs to be done over the summer. Plus there is always extra stuff like what they did at the top of the hillsides last year and new gates/fencing. I will bet that work slows way down after April and stretches through the summer. And the spring game will be west side only.

They are going to remodel the offices in Hilton as well, which is likely why the basketball coaches had to get out of there before the other facility is completed. I've heard that the wrestling coaches are eventually going to get offices at the Rec once the new student facility is completed.

Re: Jack Trice
I was out at the bball practice facility yesterday, and they are really making some progress on it

Step one was to get the south bleechers full, which they've done a pretty good job of. They've proved the area can fill up, now it's all up to keeping them there! -

Haverhill, I'm surprised that you haven't gone to take pictures yet.
