Maybe Ferentz should give this a try
So I was reading the article over on CSR (free info) about a new offer to Josh Shaw from Palmdale, which is the same high school as Woods, Mims, and Hicks. The article stated that he wanted to major in Criminal Justice and that Coach Rhoads stated it was the #1 choice on the team right now.
I know that EIU has quite a few players that have first hand experience with the criminal justice system, but I can't help to think that if they had learned about it from the good side instead of the bad, they would have less issues over there.
Re: Maybe Ferentz should give this a try
Iowa's English Dept. is losing ground as well - just last week a Hawkeye football player was asked what comes after a sentence, and he said, "An appeal!"
Re: Maybe Ferentz should give this a try
Ferentz is too busy developing a new offense that uses nothing but no huddle play calling since huddles are now a violation of parole since it is now associating with other known felons. He don't have time for that of which you speak.....

I hear Kirkie likes to watch O Brother, Where Art Thou and The Longest Yard on Fridays before the game. Considers it a team building and bonding session if you will. He is often referred to by the team as the "Dapper Dan Man", in the locker room on game day.

Re: Maybe Ferentz should give this a try
Ferentz is just waiting for the day that Culver will join the Hawks on the field and pardon them all for their misdermeanering and tomfoolery and join him in a stirring rendition of You Are My Sunshine!
Re: Maybe Ferentz should give this a try
If he really wanted something to work he's start kicking these idiots off the team to make an example instead of slapping them on the wrist and sweeping it under the rug. If he kicked his own son off this time you don't think that wouldn't send a message that he means business this team and this crap has to end? He won't do it but he should.
