Compared to the classes that we have had the past few years, this is one of the best according to the pundits.

Re: 2010 Offers Thread
Not only do we have some decently rated guys, most of them are HS players that show some great athleticism. These guys have the potential to develop into exceptional starters.
Honestly, there is not a huge amount of difference between some good three stars and some four stars. A lot of the difference is exposure.
The guys we have so far have some great measurables and I am impressed with them. Overall I think the athleticism and team speed will be improved by this class.

Re: 2010 Offers Thread
I'll admit I haven't followed recruiting as closely in the past, but really like the way the chips appear to be falling this year.
It seemed like when Chizik was here we didn't have near this many kids commited this late in the game.
McCarney classes would look decent, but seemed we'd lose quite a few by the time fall arrived.
Looks to me like Rhoads and crew have their stuff together and we're getting good early commits and the quality and mix of freshman and Jucos is good.

I want Venric Mark.... badly.
Let me rephrase that:
I want Venric Mark to play for Iowa State.... badly. http://rivals.yahoo.com/iowastate/fo...ric-Mark-95049 Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Ive never felt all that great about him or Tim Jackson coming here. At ealst he didnt wait til the last second like Mike Marry, another Largo alum. I hope LJ smacks him in the back of the head next time he sees him.

I felt better about Douglas choosing us than Jackson. I actually thought we stood a decent shot of getting him. This one sucks. Time to move on.

Marcus Lucas, the 4 star receiver that was here last summer for camp, committed to Mizzou yesterday. I wonder if they let him go on his normal "shopping" spree at a local foot locker. Marcus Lucas - Yahoo! Sports
