Speaking of Walter's....He mentioned that the "Other staff "before PR did not utilize their time wisely...

I think that is an open ended statement but knowing Walter's always taking the high road....He really meant Chiz was/is a bafoon and the staff he hired was mostly a joke and there was stuff behind closed doors that left people scratching their heads about the bible belters. And now there is a breathe of fresh air.

I really want to like Jon but then he does this kind of stuff or calls I-State fans small minded (Mondays show I believe) and I have to go back to disliking him. Some day he might win me over but he has some work to do.

Great show today Jon. I really enjoyed the interview and the conversation between you and Steve about the Cyclones.
Good to have a good local show to listen to.

I really enjoy Deace and Miller together. Always have. From August-March it will be appointment radio IMO. Jon should thank Steve everyday for agreeing to do sports again.

deace is ok and i do like miller even with all his hawk crap.

I dont know about every day, but I am glad he made the call to me asking if I would be interested in doing it. It's gonna be a lot of fun. I appreciate all of the posts here.

The Cotman was not good - I don't know what his ratings were like but Deace & Miller are far and away better. At least good enough to get me to listen to KXNO again.

I think Miller and Deace make a great combo. Yet I think Cotlar was good too. You can't hate the guys that like to keep local sports talk on the radio.

I had a chance to talk with Larry on Tuesday. He is in good spirits. Larry was always nothing but nice and helpful to me and I think we had a good relationship. That was a flat out crazy scene.
