Oh yeah.... Waye Terry I think was his name
terry had an head/neck injury in the missori game i believe. and adam carper tore his acl i believe.
Terry had an injurty but they found a pre-existing condition that he had...something with his spinal column or something like that?
yes terry did have a concussion and neck injury. I believe doctors told him that if he took another hard hit, that he might not wake up.
don't remember what happened to adam carper really.
I do recall a linebacker that got kicked off the team for testing possitive for drugs a few years back. anyone recall his name?
A relative of mine (2nd cousin) had something like this happen to him way back when. Not sure of the year. But he was a redshirting when we went to the peach bowl. He started the next year at linebacker as redshirt freshman, and tore up his knee in the middle of the season. he rehabed, then came back his sophomore and tore up the same knee again that same year.
They wanted him to come back and play but he told them that he wanted to be able to walk when he graduated.
It'd be kinda cool if anyone on here played with him or knows him. He goes by Joe or Joel Jensen.
Robo.
I might not be remembering correctly, but I believe that the story didn't end there. I thought that after Terry was told that ISU would not accept the risk of letting him continue to play, he ended up transferring to a smaller school and competing during his senior year.
It was Robertson. He had a good year and was looking solid but got kicked off for steroids.
Carper destroyed his entire knee... I saw him around campus a lot. I think he had multiple surgeries and it just wouldn't come back. Really unfortunate because he was going to be a very good player for us. He's a really nice guy too.
