Re: Tyler Lorenzen makes a reversal
Wasn't Pollard the AD when he got moved to Tight End at ISU? I think this was clearly his fault. "Homemade beer, after all, is like a democracy. Every so often, you’re gonna hate what comes out of it. But when it’s good, it’s the best." - woot.com -

So if I would have said "Good post, I totally agree!" ...... Would you have posted the same thing?!?! B/c that is all +1 means!

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone. -

Why would I waste my time posting the same exact thing that someone else has posted.

I can't believe I have 2 moderators giving me crap for posting "+1" when there is so many garbage posts on this website that go un-deleted

I explained what he meant by his post, and I happen to agree - settle down. His point was that having 50 people post "I agree" is boring to scroll through. I have started posts with "I agree," "+1," or "great post" many times - but only if I've got a follow-up comment or a new take on it. Otherwise, it's wasting others' time. If I just want to say that I agree with something, I give rep.
Coincidentally - while you may not pay for anything here, this site does have to rent so much server space. Crap posts just bloat that.

The point is the same. I am not going to say +1 and than go onto post the same thing that the previous poster said. That is more boring and more of a waste of space than just posting +1.
If crap posts bloat server space than why are there so many crap threads that get started, stay up, and turn into 200 posts ******** sessions?!

This thread is beginning to unravel... Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

I personally agree - there are a lot of threads about nothing that are inane (great, more cat pictures). That's why both Chadm and I were just posting our personal opinions about the topic - we haven't brought down a decree from on high or anything.
