Point shaving vs. Toledo

I cant believe i am the first to post this but channel 13 said someone on the ISU football team was involved in a point shaving incident during the triple ot game vs. toledo and ISU is under investigation. WTF?

I thought that story was the other way around...that Toledo was accused of this.

Yeah....last I heard, multiple Toledo players were being investigated for point shaving a few years ago, possibly including the 3OT game.

Toledo players have been accused of point shaving, and it was in the timeframe of the triple OT game in 2006.

But they don't mention our game, or any games, specifically.

Edit: They show a list of basketball games that are being investigated, but no list of football games. They mention a GMAC bowl game but that's about it.

They've been investigating this for 2 years. It just took this long for them to officially charge them.

We didn't cover that game anyway and if they were point shaving they would have wanted us to cover it.

That game alone should have been the sign that 2006 was going to be a long, long year.
